Oblivion was just not a good finale. It's the same thing over and over for about 250 pages, and I was bored. It's also like the previous book never happened at all, which isn't surprising because it was all filler material anyway. But Isobel basically spends most of the book going back forth between the dream world and accomplishing nothing until the very end. This series could have easily been one long book rather than dragged out over three long books.
I guess if you're a fan of the series, you'll probably enjoy Oblivion. Especially if you like the dreamworld scenes. I mostly just read it to see how it would be resolved, and because of that bizarred ending on the previous book, which ended up just being a ruse to pick up this one, which I 100% fell for. Oh well.
