Read the Kindle sample and decided not to continue. Felt like everything was too “obvious”. The guy looked at the girl and his internal monologue was just: “Woah! Since when is she hot? OMG! I need to get a hold of myself! This is crazy!” It was just a bit eye-rolly.
In general felt like it was more telling than showing.
