Summary:

In the world of My Hero Academia, approximately eighty percent of the population (and growing) have been born with quirks – unique superpowers. Midoriya is part of the twenty percent group – born without a quirk. He never let that destroy his dreams of becoming a hero, and look at him now!

Shigaraki and All For One are on the run – but they still pose a significant threat. For this reason, All Might has finally caved and asked for his international allies to send aid. Thus far, only one as responded, but there's no denying she's on her way to make a difference.

Review:

Holy cats. My Hero Academia Vol. 34 packs a whole lot of punch. Well, it's more like punches, as there's more than one arc in this volume. We have the obvious – Star and Stripe. She's intense and exactly what this war needed.

It's interesting to finally read about Star, considering I've been hearing about her for a while. I know it isn't one-for-one, but I do feel like she's at least slightly inspired by Captain Marvel (Air Force, strong, stubborn, and tends to see every problem like a nail). At first, I wasn't sure how I felt about Star, but by the end of this arc, I loved her. That's all I have to say on that matter.

As for the other arc in this volume...well, that one had already been thoroughly spoiled for me (the internet cannot keep secrets). But it was still nice to actually get to see it all with my own eyes, so to speak.
