3.5 stars. Maybe the full 4. I enjoyed this book, even though I'm not it's target audience. Solid characters you can get behind and an interesting plot. I thought perhaps it was the first in a new series, but it seems it's probably just a stand alone - and that's ok as the author wraps everything up rather nicely by the end. A fun way to blow through a rainy afternoon.
