Krueger's books have recommended to me time and time again. I finally took a chance and read The Rive We Remember. Being a native Minnesotan who grew up in small down that felt an awful lot like Jewel, I felt the Krueger captured small town life, politics, and secrets well. I was drawn in from the start and looked forward to finding out how everything would wrap up.
