Everything this author writes is quirky, beautiful, and touching. Honey Mead Murder is all of that and more.

The book focuses on Murphy and George. Murphy owns a pub and brew his own brews, while George is a beekeeper who truly loves his little flyers. At the beginning of the book, the two finally have a long past due first date. However, as happens in a good cozy, there is a twist. In this case, a murder that results in Murphy becoming a suspect. But George refuses to sit back and let anything happen to his longtime crush. He and his cousin band together to find out the truth.

Murphy and George are the perfect main characters. George is an autistic, and Murphy is entirely dialed into him and his needs, 100% supportive. The entire cast of characters surrounding them was equally supportive of both men, which was lovely to read.

Honey Mead Murder checks all the boxes for a fantastic cozy mystery. Great characters, amateur detectives, and an engaging mystery. The adorable dogs didn’t hurt, either!
