Summary:
Fuuta recently agreed to let his little sister move in with him. However, she isn't moving alone – coming with her is Kyuruga. This is Fuuta's first real experience spending any amount of time near a cat, and it's safe to say that it was illuminating.
Now all Fuuta wants is to come home and spend time with the cat. Observe the cat. Cuddle the cat. Study the cat. You name it, Fuuta wants to experience that part of cat ownership. (#relatable)
Review:
As a cat lover, I adored Nights with a Cat Vol. 1. It's so cute and funny! If you love cats and manga, this book is for you. I cannot overstate that fact.
Watching Fuuta's life slowly (eh, not so slowly) get taken over by his obsession with a cat was fun. Most cat owners have been there, so it's a highly relatable experience. It made me laugh on more than one occasion.
The slice-of-life moments were pretty perfect. Little things like Fuuta clearly could tell where Kyuruga had been sleeping and things like that. Very endearing and very much something you could picture happening in real life.
Will I continue the series? Yes
