I feel like the premise of this could have been better if this first book had been deeper, more fleshed out and longer. I quite enjoyed the beginning of the story but it glossed over so much, I didn't feel any emotions because I wasn't attached to the main character yet. It had potential but it didn't quite make it there. I wanted a deeper story, deeper characters and events to have more of a set up and lead up till they happened.
