It's part of an ever-expanding group of journals for documenting and preserving family and person milestones.

This book is full of gentle and contemplative prompts to record the experiences from delivery through the first few years of life. It's enhanced throughout with intricate papercut art by Sarah Trumbauer. Many (most?) of the other companion volumes in the series are similarly embellished and coordinate beautifully with this one.

Five stars. This would be a lovely gift for new parents (there are similar journals for most life phases), or a thoughtful shower gift.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.
