I Married a Naga was another adorable entry in this series! While I didn't love it as much as the first book, I still fully enjoyed it. Serena and Szaro are super sweet together. They first meet while out hunting. Serena is part of a hunting group on his species' planet, helping to weed out an aggressive, invasive species. Of course, Szaro is also out with his people taking care of the beasts near the village. Then some stuff goes down, Serena is essentially arrested, but the village Elders don't want to kill her, so they make her one of them!
I also like how I Married a Naga continued the theme of being a good steward of the earth. In I Married a Lizard Man, it was about sustainable farming. Now we get ethical hunting! Serena never hunts for fun. She only hunts to protect, conserve, and to study. She wants to be a park ranger! I also loved how it goes deeper into the real challenges of living with a different species, such as...how to use the toilet! Obviously snake people and human people have different anatomy and therefore have different needs in that department. Despite being Sci-Fi, I just adored how real and normal the relationship between Serena and Szaro was.
