I was told that dreams were our heart’s desires. My nightmares, however, became my obsession.

His name is Michael Crist.

My boyfriend’s older brother is like that scary movie that you peek through your hand to watch. He's handsome, strong, and completely terrifying. The star of his college’s basketball team and now gone pro, he’s more concerned with the dirt on his shoe than me.

Absolutely amazing. This book will be one that I will be reading over and over again. In fact, this is my second re-read on this one. This book consumes me. Every single emotion that can be felt from following Rika and Michael, I felt it. Anger, hatred, love, passion, joy, sadness.....it completely twisted my soul. That is an incredibly written story.

Rika & Michael are life for me. They are chiseled with flaws, they are chiseled with amazingness. These two characters were my family during my reads of this incredible novel. I felt myself falling deeper and deeper in love with their story with each page turn. This is absolutely every bit the dark read it is described as. From the emotional turmoil to the sexiness that is the passion between Rika & Michael, this story will rip you up, and leave you on your knees wanting more instantly.

If you love dark, emotionally twisted, page turning amazingness, then do not hesitate to grab this one up. Douglas is a queen of all that is dark when it comes to creating stories for her fans. Seriously, don't miss this one. I absolutely can not wait to dive back into book 2 next!
