I wanted to like this book. I really did. The characters were very flat to me and I couldn't quite grasp any of the characters. I did enjoy the story itself as a whole. Of course, there were the problems in it. Things just seemed to happen with no explanation. There was also still too many questions at the end of this book for me to feel like it was completed. Sure, it may work to get people to purchase the sequels. I, however, will not be one of these people. I am also going to mention that when I started readin this, it felt like a Twilight-sequel novel minus the dumb love triangle. In the end, I do still get this vibe.
