Proceed With Caution:

This book contains kidnapping.

The Basics:

Raven's Return picks up right where the previous book left off, with Raven separated from the village. She has no idea where she is, who has her, and if anyone is looking for her. She has nothing to worry about though because U'dron will always come for her!

My Thoughts:

I was very pleasantly surprised by Raven's Return. Raven is one of the girls we've seen the least of (along with Steph, Sam, and Flor), so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I also assumed that she was going to resonate with her mysterious kidnapper rather than U'dron coming to get her. Not that I'm complaining though, because those two were adorable. And I feel like the kidnapper is meant for someone else...

Raven's Return involved secrets! Raven has a secret! U'dron has a secret! Both of them feel like their secret is holding them back from a meaningful relationship! Raven's basically been faking her entire personality and past so that everyone will like her. She didn't have the best relationships back on Earth. Meanwhile, U'dron doesn't feel like a man because of certain events that took place before the volcano erupted. Poor guy! He is all man! And he's going to prove it!

I really don't want to give anything away for Raven's Return. It was just really sweet and fun. Raven and U'dron must work together to get back to the village and both must come to terms with their pasts to move into their future together. There was also some solid setup for Bridget's Bane. Finally! Bridget and A'tam have been driving everyone nuts with their back and forth.
