I am such a Ruby fan, and my heart ached for her as she took that long and lonely walk down memory lane. As she revisited the boy book, she also thought about her old group of friends. He pain and regret came through, but I was glad she made progress with moving on. That's hard when one is Ruby's age. As always, the humor and the way Lockhart examines relationships was on point. Utterly enjoyable!
