Reapers Revenge is the second book in the Western Wind series. I read the first book and I recommend that others read the first book before this one. There were several references to things that happened in the first book. And best of all the first book is really, really good so you'll miss a treat if you don't read it.

Aingeal and Cynyr Cree return to Haines City on the steamiest train ride in history. This story really brings the heat from beginning to end! They face an evil so strong that it will take all of the reapers working together to defeat it with help from a surprise visitor. One reaper will battle for his life while another succumbs to the power of love. Kidnapping, rape, and murder add suspense to this already adventurous and romantic storyline.

Boyett-Compo shows off her awesome writing skills by managing to deftly weave humor into this storyline in a way that enhances the suspenseful and romantic elements of the story. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. Thankfully this book has no cliffhanger but the writing is so good you want to dive back into that special zone that only a Charlotte Boyett-Compo book can take you.
