Water Keep by J Scott Savage

Water Keep (Farworld, #1)

by J Scott Savage

Found in the desert as a baby by monks who named him, thirteen-year-old Marcus, who has been confined to a wheelchair ever since he can remember, knows nothing of his background and endures the difficulties of his daily life in various foster homes and schools by dreaming of Farworld, a magical place whose pull seems to be getting increasingly stronger.

I loved this new fantasy novel by J. Scott Savage! There were surprises at every turn and it is full of angst. The monsters and bad guys in this book put Harry Potter's Voldemort & Death Eaters to shame.

I was lucky to read this book early because it officially isn't released until September.(I received an ARC copy and I am part of the Farworld Blog Tour. Google about this to learn more.) This is the first book out of a five book series. I am hooked and can't wait until the next book comes out. You learn to love the characters early on and there are some awesome life lessons to learn from reading this book...for both kids and adults.
