Could a schoolgirl crush become an epic love story? Maybe, if Cammie is lucky. Cammie has been pining for Grayson since her senior year of high school. Fast forward 5 years, and Cammie is now a new hire at a design firm owned by Grayson. The first half of this story, we must stand by as Grayson resists his attraction for Cammie, but even the ultra disciplined Grayson Cole succumbs to his heart's desires. However, as with any good romance, both Cammie and Grayson are keeping secrets from each other, which will make or break them.

As always, Grey brings the funny, which is probably what I loved most about The Duet. I totally get her sense of humor and greatly enjoy it. Grey also did a great job establishing her major characters. I thought I really understood many of the characters' actions and reactions, because they were introduced to us well throughout the story. I loved getting to peek back in on the progress of Jason and Brooklyn's relationship, but I really, really loved that Grey gave me not one, but TWO epilogues. My biggest issues with stand-alones, is that I always want to know what happened after. With these epilogues, I got the answers my heart desired, and it made me happy.

Overall, a really fun romance. She brought the funny, she brought some drama, she brought the schmexy.
