Eat Slay Love by Jesse Petersen

Eat Slay Love (Living with the Dead, #3)

by Jesse Petersen

Two zombie apocalypse survivors search for a cure and fight the undead together in this inventive and darkly funny romantic comedy perfect for fans of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Sarah and David have survived the zombie apocalypse. They stood side by side and fought the undead, mad scientists, and even bionic monsters until the unthinkable happened. A zombie bite. But not even that could stop them. Now, with a possible cure in hand, they're headed east, looking for a safe zone behind the rumored "Wall." They're feeling pretty optimistic.

That is until Dave stops sleeping and starts lifting huge objects.

Eat. Slay. Love.

Because they haven't got a prayer.

This was another fun read - as a conclusion it's open ended... but what do ya know, turns out it's not the last book like I thought, so never mind that. The action was fun, the new characters added humor and conflict. I love where their relationship has ended up, considering where they started in book 1. And it's always interesting the way, despite being funny, this series still throws some unexpected gut punches. Now to look into that book #4 that I didn't realize existed!
