Took me a while to figure out that Jason was the Jason from the Kingwood Duet. He was so different from the guy in that series. Sure, there were hints of "Eric" that were there, but I never connected the dots until Jason had a visitor and a job offer. Call me surprised when I put all the pieces together.

This was a sweet second-chance romance. Jason heads home trying to figure out what he does next with his life. His intent may have been to hide out at his mom's until he knew what he wanted to do, but his heart definitely has a different idea.

Delilah and Jason may have seen their high school/college relationship fall apart, but I think following their second attempt readers quickly discover they may have needed the time apart to grow up and understand what they wanted from life. They had a lot of baggage to weed through, but they found an understanding with each other than I don't think they would have had otherwise.

I devoured this one in a single sitting this morning. Sweet, hot and the perfect read for a Sunday morning.
