Memories from my childhood tell me that I enjoy stories from [a:Patricia MacLachlan|29182|Patricia MacLachlan|http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1311807739p2/29182.jpg] and I've been excited to read new stories. [b:The Truth of Me|16240743|The Truth of Me|Patricia MacLachlan|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1359980555s/16240743.jpg|22246589] is very short, but very full. I was able to read an advanced reader copy, mine was paperback, but I believe that final press print will be hardcover. The cover is attractive and it's a good story for boys and girls although the main character is a boy, his dog and his grandmother. It's a different story, but I think it is a good one for young readers to experience as it might show a different angle to tough situations of family to understand. All in all the theme is learning to admit, "I love you".
