Initial thoughts: It was really heartening to find that this book is primarily focussed on the women of the Bible, featuring ten of them and how their prayers made a difference in their lives and that of others. Definitely walked away encouraged to prioritise prayer more in my life. Although, since I listened to the audiobook, I didn't get to read the Bible verses mentioned with my own eyes, so I couldn't verify Jakes's claims on the spot. I did pen down the ways he concluded women's prayers make a difference together with the names of the biblical women he featured. I'll use that list to sit down and flip through the relevant Bible passages myself.
