Middle grade isn't for me normally, but I seem to like everything that Alexandra Bracken writes so to no one's surprise, I really enjoyed this book.
While the story itself maybe wasn't the most interesting one (because middle grade, not any other reason), the overall vibe and atmosphere really made this book great. I actually really liked the backstory and the betrayal in this novel, which I somehow hadn't expected.
