College students Lea and Gabe are in the same creative writing class and have the same interests, but it looks like things are never going to work out between them because Lea is a little aloof and Gabe is a little shy.
Initial thoughts: This is a book I've been waiting for years to read without even even knowing it! I had no plans of picking it up but I chanced upon at the library, so I decided to give it a shot after all. I'm glad I did. Besides, who can resist a book that partly tells the story from the perspective of a squirrel! I loved how refreshingly simple A Little Something Different was while still packing a punch.
