I know this had a Cinderella theme which is why I thought I'd enjoy it. It was actually disappointing, to say the least. It was very boring and frustrating. Jane's sisters were so infuriating! I almost DNF'd because of them. I couldn't handle all the drama surrounding them and the main character. Out of all the characters, I only liked Brock's brothers and I'm looking forward to their stories. They made things very fun and were the only reason I kept reading.

I wanted to like the romance but it was so very hard for me to do. Brock would treat Jane as if she were a real servant, almost like a slave. Then when the romance started, it was impossible for me to believe it.

Overall, The Bachelor Auction felt dull and not entertaining at all. I will pick up the following books seeing as I loved Brock's brothers.

I received an eARC from the publisher for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. This review was originally posted on Latte Nights Reviews.
