My Synopsis:

Zane picks up three months after Kaleb, the first book from the Alluring Indulgence series. Zane Walker is the youngest of the Walker brothers and has been in the hospital recovering from a brutal attack that left him in a coma. Once Zane is out of the hospital his mission is to get Vanessa "V" Carmichael back in his bed and protect her from the guy who attacked him.

Vanessa has been avoiding Zane after he woke up from the coma. Zane was attacked in front of her home. She feels responsible for what happened to Zane since he was attacked for defending her. Vanessa hasn't dealt very well with this incident and has been suffering since. She wants to keep Zane at a distance but Zane is not having any of this.

My Thoughts:

Holy smoking batman, wow this was definitely a smexy five alarm read. You need to make sure you have a portable fan nearby, bag of ice, significant other or your B.O.B while reading Zane. I really loved the second book in the Alluring Indulgence series. Zane, might be the youngest Walker brother (25 yrs old) and younger than V, but the boy knows how to work it and set the sheets on fire.

The chemistry between Zane and V was insane. You could melt ROCK with what was happening between these two. Every scene even the non-bedroom ones you could feel the attraction and connection. I love possessive male leads and Zane definitely fit the bill. He was sweet, HOT, caring and was definitely in charge and the boss in the bedroom. He is so patient with V and shows her in every way that he wants more from her. He gave me lots of sigh worthy moments hearing his thoughts about how he knew V was it for him. Loved that when V was around she could take the edge off his anger and calm him with just a touch.

I adored V. She is definitely someone I'd hang out with. She's loyal, caring and all around sweetheart! I liked her character and I love how she loses control and trusts Zane to take her where she needs to go in the bedroom. My GOD if I had a Zane I'd trust him too. Did I mention how he knows how to work it? :) Now outside of the bedroom some of her actions made me want to slap her silly! I wanted to sit her down and tell her, "Look here missy," many times!

It was great catching up with the Walker brothers. My goodness a family of hot cowboy men. Seriously, Nicole tell me where I can find this family at? I laughed so much at the crap talking the brothers do with one another. It 's so typical male bonding. Loved, loved, loved learning more about Beau and Gage the Walker friends. Goodness me lots of m/m loving in this book. Ummm...can we say pool table scene? Gives me shivers every time thinking of that scene. I want more Beau. Love HIM!!! I love his and Zane's friendship. Totally melted my heart when they had their "talk". Loved how they both didn't want things to change and worked hard at keeping their friendship in tack. I can't wait to see what Nicole has in store for Beau.

I definitely recommend this book and series. The books read very well by themselves but I suggest you read them in order only because I think you'll get more enjoyment out of it. If you are in need of an erotic romance with hot smexing, great storyline, endearing family, smoking lead hero and sassy heroine then pick this book up!
