Mia finds herself without a Dom after her Master dismisses her. Brokenhearted, she withdraws from the life she had know for the previous year. It's not until Chess Ryan, another Dom from her club, brings her back into the world that she discovers what she had before was nothing like what Chess could give her.

Mia and Chess were an interesting couple. They both were able to get something out of the D / s relationship that they don't have in their everyday lives. For Mia, that meant giving up control and letting someone else take care of her. For Chess, that meant having control over one aspect of his life when everything else was spiraling out of control. Their relationship was as much about learning to love themselves and each other as it was about being Master and slave. They had a lot of emotional issues to get over, but when they decided that what they wanted was each other they got it together.

A quick read, that had it's erotic and emotional elements that captured the readers attention.
