I have found another great author! I was hooked from the first sentence of the prologue. Game Changer is full of great dialog, fun scenarios, and fascinating characters.

You know how sometimes you read about the nice boy with the gorgeous but shallow girl and wonder why in the world he doesn’t see right through her? Author Charissa Stastny does a fantastic job of making sense of why Parker sticks with Lily in this story.

Meridee is a lot of fun with the way she creates nicknames for the regular customers in the ice cream shop where she works. And the way she thinks she needs to be tough with the employees so they will respect her as the manager. I loved the scene where she ended up calling her brother to come “rescue” her and pretend he was her fiancé.

Parker was a sweet, clueless man. The way he loved and respected his mama and knew how to treat women right was touching. I cracked up at the way he found Meridee’s car and announced his presence (with Oreos!) when she was trying to avoid him. And then the way he washed it for her so she would see that he was doing it was a riot!

The story was sweet, swoony, funny, touching and a pleasure to read.
