Take two awkward people with some baggage, put them in a fake date situation, and watch the sparks fly. That's pretty much what happened in Cinderella and the Geek, and it was a lot of fun watching this romance blossom.

Who?

• Harry, the RPG designer, who had put off romantic relationships after suffering a terrible breakup six years ago.

• Alice, Harry's office manager, who had little romantic experience, and was leery of relationships due to her father abandoning her family.

What?

Alice's time with Harry's company was dwindling, and she was determined to act on her feelings for Harry before she left. A well timed fake-date reveals that each has feelings for the other, but will this this relationship last beyond its expiration date?

Why?

This book was really fun. I loved how adorably awkward both Alice and Harry were, and their romance was totally smile inducing. Harry especially endeared himself to me with so many of the things he said and did, and he may have made me swoon. There was witty banter and fun outings, and the drama was fairly low, which is a win for me. I definitely enjoyed the bulk of this story, but I especially loved the epilogue! It was just precious.
