Blood Destiny

Wow, this book is full on!!! By 20% I was really into the characters and loved the whole back story and how it all came to be. I was cruising along thinking it's not as gruesome as I had heard, I'm tough I can handle it, then....25% and I was reading it one eyed and moaning enough that my hubby came in to find out what was wrong. I explained that it was all good, just a bit of blood and guts. He just shook his head and walked away. Even though horror and gore is NOT my thing, there was not one time I thought of giving up and not going on...it was riveting.

I really liked the characters and the connection that formed between Jocelyn and Nathaniel. Jocelyn was Nathaniel's "destiny", so he had the whole "your mine" thing happening from nearly the beginning of the book which I loved. The sexy bits between the main characters was slow on coming, but definitely worth the wait.

The baddies were bad, the goodies were good and the overall feeling I got from this book left me with a nice buzz at 1:30 in the morning.

Off now to read the next book in this wonderful series. :-)
