Giant Days 2017 Holiday Special #1

It’s funny, you’d think after all this time I’d be used to just how cute Giant Days is, and yet they always manage to surprise me. This Holiday Special is no exception. Also, it’s a little bit longer than their standard issues, which is pretty fantastic all things considered!
The girls go off to London for the holidays (or is it the pre-holidays?), mostly because they’re bored and broke and Esther has a friend that will let them stay for free. As you can imagine having these three in London leads to lots of adventures, but as per usual they manage to surprise us in how they’re done. Well, mostly. Esther’s drama field is really no surprise to anyone at this point.
All in all this was a funny and heartwarming issue. I actually almost wish we’d see more of the new character they introduced, though I understand just how unlikely that is.
