After teasing us for 4 books, we will finally get Ghost's story! Ghost survived torture in Afghanistan and believed that Wraith died in the ambush. He is now out of the army and working for Linear Tactical, but he is far from "healed". He can't handle crowds, spends most of his time alone, and now he is sure his mind can't be trusted. Wraith can't be back.
Ray is her name now and she is going to find out who is killing her former black ops team members. Dorian (Ghost) doesn't know if he can trust her. The info she has changes everything he thought he knew. It also means both of them are in danger. Trust is not easy for these two. They had a strong bond, but years of secrets have made them both wary. Ray doesn't want to get Dorian involved because it's dangerous. Dorian wants to be involved because its dangerous. Ray is also having some mysterious medical issues that add to the tension.
Ghost will appeal to fans of spy and black ops stories but want the romance too! You get the great small town vibe, government cover ups, and a second chance romance all in one book! I continue to love all the Linear Tactical books and Ghost was a sensational addition!
