A gritty and enjoyable read. The heroine wasn't very likeable through most of the book, but was able to empathise with her as time wore on, when her background was explained. Hero was a "James Bond" type, a bit of a maverick, but not is a bad way. The final chapter wasn't a comfortable read and came to an abrupt end. However, after my initial thought of WTH, I realised that the author couldn't have finished in a better way. I'd definitely read this again.
