As a free download, this was a good read. After I'd finished reading, I found out that this is the first book in a series. I'm looking forward to picking up the different threads of the story later this year, in book 2. I think that the author did a really good job portraying Lily's character sensitively. I'd like to add that the book does have mild sexual references...leaving more to the readers imagination than anything! As to the profanity?....can't say I read any language that offended me. Definitely no "F" words. Overall a great start to a new family series.
