Initial Thoughts: Interesting story, but the blurb about the protagonist having a "great destiny" is overwrought and led me to expect a story much different from the one I got. She probably deserves better than what other people hand to her in life, but she's not exactly a Chosen One doing deeds of great renown; the book is more about her personal journey and finding inner strength.
