What a special book this is. I read this with half smiles half tears in my eyes while holding my sleeping five month old daughter. I cannot image the range of emotions that Tracy and her family had to endure. During the first half of my pregnancy I was told that there was a large chance of a chromosomal abnormality only to be told later that was a mistake and a misread ultrasound. I spent the last third of my pregnancy with gestational diabetes and being told that a million things could be wrong with my baby because of that. I was so scared and stressed but calm knowing that no matter what it would work out in some way in the end for the better of everyone involved. And it did. I now have a beautiful and perfect little girl and I am much more cautious about what she will eat as a young child and the ideas of better portion ratios of protein to sugars for absorption to help her grow up and live healthier than I ever knew how. I recommend this read. It will make you treasure what you have and see the good even in the darkest of grey areas.
