This is not your typical Kitty Thomas story. It is much less brutal in some sense and similar to other Kitty books in other. You still have the kidnapping and some nonconsensual sex. There isn't nearly as much sex as you would normally get in a Kitty book. You get way more character building in this story.

I truly enjoyed this story. I really like Leo and most of his family. There are something's about Faith the drove me crazy. It isn't often that I take the side of the captor over the victim, but that was the case in this book.

The one thing the surprised me most was that , even though there are tons of character development for the two main characters, I think I would've liked to have know more about both of their pasts a little bit more.

Overall, I loved this story. It was nothing that I expected.
