Dark Interlude wasn't as engaging as the previous installment, but there's a twist! It's a delightful and kind of disturbing twist, but I liked it. It kind of makes me want Christy to choose Roman. Only kind of. I'm still Team Master! Roman does take things to a whole other level this time with his controlling behavior, so I'm glad Christy has finally come to her senses. Something strange does happen toward the end of this installment, and it felt out of place. I would have liked Christy to make her decision in some other, more believable way, but oh well. That ending? Must immediately read the next part!
