Oh so very Oirish. Not a historical Ireland I know anything about, despite much research and a degree in History and Classical Civilization...

Scahta had me grinding my teeth several times, Scatha is the name and the legendary one would have handed several people their innards, after all she trained the Fianna (in Scotland it has to be admitted). Up until recently people left things for the Sidhe and I believe there are still people who do.

This is an Ireland without the numinous or respect for the numinous and it's not an Ireland I like to explore in my readings. This would have been better set in a fantasy world, not in a historical Ireland as it does it no service.
