The building site will not be ready until one last rock is removed, and although the big machines all have a go at it, only Little Digger has what it takes to get the job done--with some encouragement from Tom, the dump truck.
This is a cute and colorful book. It reminds me of Bob the Builder's little digger. It is very big on team work, perseverance and that even the little one on the team has it's speciality. Having a friend's support is important and even preschooler readers will pick up on the friendship in this one. It's not amazing, but it is cute and fun.
