May 14, 2021 ... Audio Review

"You're mine now, little trickster."

Raine wants to complete her final year of high school and get out of Alstone for good. Carter, the king of Alstone High, is sick of his parents comparing him to Raine all of the time. At the annual Halloween Fight Night, Raine tricks Carter and all bets are off and everything gets turned upside down.

I enjoyed this book as much, if not more, the second time through. There were some things that I picked up on listening to it that I missed when I read it, which was a nice surprise. I love the Alstone world and can not wait for more to come from not only this world but also from Becca Steele. I recommend this book to all bully romance readers who love their books with some twists and turns.

Audio … I loved that this was a duet narration. Gregory Salinas was the perfect voice for Carter. Stephanie Nemeth-Parker did a great job as Raine she just sounded a little too old for a high school student.

*October 2020 Review*

“You’re mine now, little trickster.”

Welcome to Alstone High School. Raine just wants to make it through her final year at school with as little issues as possible. But when she tricks the king of the school, Carter Blackthorne, at Fright Night, her world gets turned upside down.

Trick Me Twice is a high school bully romance with an enemies to lovers twist. The suspense and tension between Carter and Raine was undeniable. I strongly related to this book having been a victim of bullying in high school.

I loved the side characters, cameos from The Four and the ability to form bigger pictures of scenes from other stories. I am looking forward to many more books from Becca Steele in the Alstone Universe.
