I usually love stories about the Bible in fiction form. This one seemed bogged down by too many details. I had a hard time getting to the story and the characters. I also wished that it had focused more on Deborah's story and not some love triangle. I may have to try reading this again some time in the future. With as much reading as I do, I do not have time to read books that are hard to wade through.
