This is a quirky, cute and fun story. It is just delicate enough that even sensitive children can enjoy hearing about Sophie's attachment to a butternut squash. A great read for fall, farmer's market and gardening themes. The font is fabulous and the illustrations are great if you overlook the crazy long noses...
