by Elle Kennedy

A New York Times bestseller! Get ready for another binge-worthy romance from international bestselling author Elle Kennedy.

He's a player in more ways than one...

College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he'll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he's worth a second chance.

Now he's going to need to up his game...

After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She's not a charity case, and she's not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He'll have to work for it. This time around, she'll be the one in the driver's seat...and she plans on driving him wild.

Lucy's Thoughts

The Mistake by Elle Kennedy brings you back into the world of college hockey with the story of John Logan and Grace Ivers. Logan is the fun loving, hockey playing junior who happens to fall for the socially awkward, sweet freshman. Just when you think it’s going to be a great relationship Logan goes and messes it up and Grace decides to move on, putting the experience behind her until Logan comes crawling back.

Elle Kennedy is quickly becoming one of my favorite writers! She tends to write witty characters, which I appreciate, and Grace and Logan are no exception. Logan has a backstory that would defeat a lesser person, but he seems to take it all in stride and even makes sure he is there for his brother. Grace reminds me of that regular girl who sticks to her guns and is able to get exactly what she wants. This book was a quick, fun read I would highly recommend and I sincerely hope we get to revisit these characters again!
