Josie is a librarian who is wanting to live out all of the fantasies she experiences while reading her romance books. Her most recent fantasy is wanting to wrangle herself a cowboy so she books herself a trip to Buck Off Ranch in hopes to find herself a cowboy. Josie runs into a mysterious cowboy, Tripp Miller, outside the local library and sets up her adventure of wrangling a cowboy.
Josie and Tripp's story is filled with classic Kat Addams wit that regular readers will know and love. I struggled with this one as it did not give me the classic Kat Addams feel. I liked Tripp and his old soul western charm but Josie was a little much. I am looking forward to Emma Jean's book to see where the series goes as I am sure there are going to be some fireworks in the next book.
