Their a bit of a build up to the real action of this story. It starts out with the siblings being disciplined for acting out in class at the end of the school year. The punishment is one i think i would of enjoyed, they are tasked with running The Magic Shop that their grandparents own. This Magic Shop is barely on its last legs compared to the one across the way that even boosts a talent show. The Magic Shop holds it own secrets and once it is discovered the action really takes off. The story is action packed and moves along at a nice steady pace. Their is nice a plot twist that really shakes up how you think the story will end. In fact it does not end your left with a not only the plot twist but a nice cliff hanger that propels you into the next book. This a great story that both kids and adults will enjoy. A must listen on a road trip.
