None of the stories are compelling at all. Hanna gets "fat" and competes with a girl with big boobs for some dumb vitamin water salesman. Emily decides to steal Christmas presents with some random girls who she gets out of jail and who never come up again. Aria acts like a total brat and then gets married (SERIOUSLY??? How is this never mentioned later in the timeline?) and acts like a brat some more. (Aria is a particularly annoying character because she always acts like a special snowflake and then proceeds to act like a typical spoiled rich girl with emotional adjustment issues.) Spencer tries to steal a guy with a girlfriend. Awesome.
Badly written, barely any plot, and full of one-dimensional, totally uncompelling characters. It's obvious Sara Shepard wrote this in about two weeks as a quick cash cow. Her writing is generally mediocre, but this was beyond terrible.
