I was admittedly surprised by this book. I expected a much quicker happily ever after and then, you know, stuff after that...

But it's still sweet and it's still fun and it's a different sort of happily ever after than I thought but it was good. And I like having seen Desi grow through the series. I loved Meredith questioning her after its said and done whether she really wanted (show spoiler) . Desi has these great ideas but is still a 14-year-old girl who sometimes can't see beyond a small box. I liked that adult perspective added to the adventure.

And, admittedly, I didn't quite love Reed and Desi as much as I wanted to. But I liked a lot of the supporting players more so it was still a fun story.
