- I Will by Lisa Kleypas- This was a fun romp featuring an almost on the shelf heroine and a devilish rogue who hatches a scheme to fool his dying father but pretending to mend his ways and date a bluestocking. Andrew, Lord Drake
blackmailsenters an arrangement with his friend’s sister, Miss Caroline Hargreaves. The tale that unfolds softens us to Andrew as we see Caroline bloom. A fun tale that kept me reading and offered tender moments, delightful banter and a few knots. - Deck the Halls With Love by Lorraine Heath- I was a tad concerned at first since the heroine appeared to be engaged, but Heath soon had me at ease. This was a short, sweet, feel-good romance set at Christmas that left me smiling. Both the hero and heroine were likable, and I rather liked the outcome.
- No Groom at the Inn by Megan Frampton- A scientific Duke believes he has the formula for finding a spouse, that is until he meets Ivy. Humor, inventions, frogs, and swoons made this a delightful story. I loved all the holiday details and talk of social ladders.
