A brilliant account of what attracted the author to the madness of paramedical work. It is a deep, intimate portrait of the skill and type of person it takes to witness our most vulnerable moments. It is filled with so many moments of truth and beauty. Once I opened this book I couldn't put it down, it is a witty, hilarious, and detailed account of life as a paramedic.
