Wow just wow. It's been a while since a book hit me so hard. I read Openly Straight, openly honestly yesterday and then this one today and I love these people with every fiber of my being. Toby is one of the bravest, amazing interesting human I have ever encountered. I also adore Alfie-gaga he is just so unapologetically himself and I totally see why him and Toby are best friends. I would die for a book about the two of them just playing scanner pong and Toby learning more about his gender-fluidness. I of course adore Ben and Rafe, I think I prefer Ben just cause I can relate to him more. He brings up this beautiful point about how people feel a need to put others into boxes and they don't like it when people push back against that and I have felt like that my entire life. Any time I tell anyone that I don't have a specific label on my sexuality they try to put one on me. I always just say I fall in love with the person not the gender. Anyways these books are so beautiful and the people in them are too. I say people because they feel real to me like I can really imagine them out there in the world. I hope their happy.
